Steel pipes with a seam

SEAMED STEEL PIPES FOR PRESSURE SERVICE. PIPES MADE OF NON-ALLOY STEEL WITH SPECIFIC PROPERTIES AT ROOM TEMPERATURE (STANDARD PN-EN 10217-1)

Manufacturing and  purpose
They are produced as welded or welded pipes with a spiral or longitudinal seam. For pipes with larger diameters, the possibility of more than one segment (circumferential seam) is allowed.
Welding methods: gas welding, HFI welding, submerged arc welding for longitudinal and spiral seams.

Steel grades used
P195TR1, P235TR1, P265TR2 P195TR2, P235TR2, P265TR2

Dimensions
Outside Diameter: 10.2mm to 2540mm
Wall thickness up to 40 mm
Length: 6 - 12 m
Research and requirements
Straightness: <0.0015 pipe length (less than 3mm per meter of pipe).
Tightness: pipes should be subjected to a water test (7Mpa) or electromagnetic testing.
Tests: melt analysis, tensile test, transverse tensile test> 508, tightness test, dimensional control, visual check, NDT of the seam
