Manufacturing and purpose
Manufactured from seamless closed sections. Pipes of this type are used as hollow sections made of unalloyed and fine-grained structural steels, they are suitable for the construction of various types of steel structures, houses, and various types of machines and devices. Due to their durability and simple structure, they can be used to make durable structures at relatively low costs. Examples of applications include, but are not limited to, frame structures for buildings, machines or vehicles. They are also used in the construction of bridges, masts and other structures.

Steel grades used
for unalloyed steels: S235JRH, S275JOH, S275J2H, S355JOH, S355J2H
for fine grain steels: S275NH, S275NLH, S355NH, S355NLH, S460NH, S460NLH

Outside diameter: 21.3 to 660 mm
Wall thickness up to 50 mm
Length: 5 to 7 m or double length

Research and requirements
Straightness: 0.2%: full length for round tubes and 0.4% full length and locally.
For these pipes, leakage tests are not required, however, several other required tests should be carried out, including: a smelting test, a tensile test, an impact test for pipes with a wall thickness above 6mm and several others.
