Dowels, anchors, and baskets for concrete surfaces, coated with alkali-resistant PE plastic.

Polymer-coated dowels offered by Impostal are specialized components used in concrete structures where durability, corrosion resistance, and the transfer of horizontal loads are crucial. They are essential elements for expansion joints in industrial floors, airport pavements, road slabs, and warehouse surfaces. The PE coating provides effective protection against alkalis present in concrete, reduces friction, and supports long-term structural stability.

Characteristics of Polymer-Coated Dowels

Dowels, anchors, and baskets for concrete surfaces coated with polyethylene (PE) are designed for maximum mechanical strength and environmental resistance. Steel grades S235JR–S355JR ensure stability and load-bearing capacity, while the polymer coating protects the element from chemical and mechanical damage.
