Steel Casing Pipes – Impostal’s Professional Offering

Steel casing pipes are a key component of many engineering, infrastructure, and industrial constructions. Impostal offers steel pipes with both longitudinal and spiral welds, manufactured from high-grade steel and tailored to the most demanding projects. Precise production parameters, a wide selection of diameters and wall thicknesses, as well as the option to produce non-standard lengths, make these solutions ideal for construction, energy, transportation, and the protection of underground installations.

Steel Pipes with Longitudinal and Spiral Welds

Depending on the project specifications, Impostal offers two types of steel casing pipes:

Steel pipes with longitudinal welds

These pipes are produced by welding longitudinal edges, ensuring high dimensional stability and consistent quality. They are ideal wherever precise fitting and high resistance to axial loads are required.

Steel pipes with spiral welds

Spiral pipes are made by forming and welding a steel strip in a spiral layout. This technology makes it possible to achieve larger diameters while maintaining a stable material structure. It is an excellent solution for infrastructure applications such as culverts, directional drillings, or support structures.

Range of Steel Casing Pipe Production

Impostal offers a broad range of dimensions, enabling pipes to be matched to nearly any technical specification or operating conditions. Production parameters include:

  • Diameter: from 88.9 mm to 2420 mm
  • Wall thickness: from 3.6 mm to 300 mm
  • Pipe length: from 6 m to 45 m


Thanks to this wide range of production capabilities, steel casing pipes can be used in both standard investments and advanced specialized projects, such as hydrotechnical structures, protective casings for directional drilling, or shielding of transmission installations.
